CMS/PWP - We have recently implemented a number of new features within PWP Publications. They include the facility to add Pre 2001 publications plus three new types of publications.

PWP: Publications  Changes

We have recently gone live with the following PWP developments:

• Improved Hide and Deselect functionality
• Improved layout of the publications page
• New Medium field (i.e. CDRom, Web etc) added to each publication
• NEW publication types (Software, Patents & Reports)
• NEW publication status’ (In press, pre-2001 & Unverified)

To View and Use these New Features:

1. Login in to your PWP page
2. Click the Publications button
3. Click the Edit Content link (just under Publication heading, top of page). This will show all the publications held against your name in the College Library database. The Publications control allows you to generate requests for the Library to:
   • Add New Publications. Click add for appropriate type of publication and a form opens where you enter the details of the new publication.
   • Edit Existing Publications. Find the publications you wish to edit, click the edit and a form with the details of that publication opens which you can then edit.
   • Notify the Library that this publication is not yours (not mine). If you find a publication which is not yours, you can inform the Library by selecting not mine .
   • Hide Publications. This will hide the publication from all web users.
   • Select/Deslect Publication.This is to enable you to filter the initial list of publications to be seen (i.e. the selected publications).  You can reduce the publications in this list by ‘Deselecting’ them.  This means that they will only be visible when the users click on the ‘All publications’ link.
